I am Deaf since birth, and went to mainstream public schools - from elementary through high school. I went to undergraduate school for the Deaf in Washington, DC and I majored in Biology. I did graduate work in molecular and cell biology at Long Island University, in NYC. Then, I went to Northeastern University in Boston for Bioinformatics. Now I have been working for a non-profit research organization in Maryland for the past few years. I love to work on challenging scientific projects. I am a very sensitive, considerate, and extremely family-oriented person. I deeply care about people's well being. It is my dream to help Deaf people and Deaf community here in United States and in India. I am very social person. I enjoy hanging out with my friends - and I like to make a few very close friends that I can count on, and that they can count on me - in times of need and crisis. I was told by them that I'm very sweet and funny person. I do not like people who are aggressive and tend to dominate all the time... at home or in a circle of friends. A person has to be polite, understanding and accepting other people's views.... and not maintain one's own views.
I'm looking for a life partner who is willing to support me in my professional career, as I would be for my life partner for her career goals. She should have a good personality, good comfortable communication, a good sense of humor, and open-minded.
I have two loving parents who always stand by me, support me, guide me, and have always made me feel loved. I have one older hearing sister who is married and I'm close to her.
